2. Calculate Total Cost

Cost will be based on package selected, plus any additional features selected.

3. Define Schedule

The schedule for your personalized consultation, filming, delivering the draft and final DVD(s) will be defined.

4. Signed Agreement

Based on numbers 1 through 3 above, we will draft an agreement that will include scheduled dates and fees and all the features to be contained on your DVD.

5. Personalized Consultation

stmm will consult with the person(s) being interviewed/filmed and provide stmm materials for successfully completing a family history.

6. Conduct Interview(s)

sttm will conduct video interview(s).

sttm will deliver the draft DVD and final DVD(s), as scheduled in #3 above.

Our Approach - In Detail

1. Define Package

E-mail (sotellmemore.com) or call (415) 699-1045 to discuss which stmm package you are interested in. We can customize each package to meet your specific interests and needs. For example we can:

   a. increase the number of photos included in the final DVD

   b. add home movie clips (Super 8, VHS video, etc.)

   c. conduct special filming on location as required

   d. make sure you get enough copies of the DVD(s)

2. Calculate Total Cost

Based on the decisions made above, we will calculate the total price while we are on the phone.

3. Define Schedule

Next, we will work with you, or the person being filmed, to set up a schedule for completing your history in a timely manner. The schedule will identify :

   a. when the personalized consultation will take place

   b. which day/days the video interview(s) will be conducted

   c. when the videographer can make a site assessment of technical needs

   d. when you will receive the draft DVD(s)

   e. when you will receive the final DVD(s)

4. Signed Agreement/Partial Payment

Based on the items agreed to in 1 through 3 above, stmm will send you an agreement for your signature to be returned to stmm with partial payment.

   a. You will receive an stmm agreement defining specifics of what will be in your family history (#of photos, home movie clips, etc.) and the number of copies of each DVD you’ve requested.

   b. Upon signing the agreement, return a copy to stmm, including 50% of the final price as a downpayment.

5. Personalized Consultation

   a. you will receive stmm materials that will help you organize your stories and memories

   b. we will discuss with you the approaches outlined in the stmm materials

   c. we will be available to answer any questions

   d. we will contact you prior to our first video interview session

6. Conduct Interviews

At the time of the interview, you should::

   a. provide photos* for inclusion in final DVD

   b. provide any other items* identified in the signed agreement, i.e. – home movies, etc.

*the date the photos will be returned to you will be decided on the day the photos are received by stmm

7. Complete Project

Based on the decisions made above and the fee calculator provided, we will calculate the total price while we are on the phone.

   a. usually within 4 weeks of stmm’s receiving all photos and items for inclusion, you will receive the first draft of the your DVD(s)

   b. within 2 weeks of receiving the first versions of the DVD(s), return them to stmm with your comments

   c. within 2 - 4** weeks of receiving your comments on the first versions of the DVD (s), you will receive the final version of the project

**only if we are scheduled to be out of town on a location shoot, will completing the project take the full four weeks
